Responsibilities

• Design and develop programming components
• Collaborate on new feature implementation and issue resolution with the product development team
• Plan and perform tasks for current and future projects
• Produce technical documentation
• Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting and occasional Tier 1 troubleshooting
• Implement and enforce best practices in coding and unit testing. Expert-level .NET
• Self-motivated, good initiative and able to work independently as well as within a team to deliver a quality product on time
• Participate actively in product design process
• Interact with Customer Support Team
• Interact closely with Product Development Team members to collaborate on new feature implementation and issue resolution
• Work closely with Quality Assurance on issue identification and resolution and clarify product requirements to define test cases
• Consult with Technical Support on product behavior and provide assistance on complicated customer issue resolution
• Perform research on technologies and tools available
• Self starter with good communications and interpersonal skills
• Perform other duties as assigned

You must be able to demonstrate that you have the relevant web product development experience and are comfortable working multiple technologies.

• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Software Development or related field
• 2+ years experience developing VB.NET Windows applications
• ASP.NET MVC3, C#, Web Development
• SQL Server (T-SQL, Database Design, Performance Tuning)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2008R2 with emphasis on maintenance, security, and stores procedures
• Excellent understanding of .NET, Java, and/or similar languages
• Source control with Subversion (or another common code repository)
• Excellent communication and problem -solving skills
• Experience with database design and development
• Good understanding of communication protocols and frameworks such as TCP, HTTP, SOAP and WCF
• MS Reporting Services
• MS Visual Studio
