Avaal Technology celebrates the completion of its 31st Successful Batch in the Dispatch Specialist course

26 Apr 2009

Brampton, ON -- September 5, 2008 - Avaal Technology reached a new milestone this Sunday with its Dispatch Specialist program. A graduation ceremony was held for the 31st batch of students to successfully complete the course. The graduating students experienced both classroom and actual hands-on job training to prepare them for their future careers. The course modules introduce innovative techniques to effectively launch and operate small to large scale trucking companies with an emphasis on strategic business management. Key modules include freight matching, route optimization, border crossing, and obtaining freight contracts. Dr. Ranvir Sharda of the Daily Punjabi Newspaper presided over the event as Master of Ceremonies. Jane Ayn Lyndon, Customer Service Manager for TransCore Link Logistics was in attendance as Chief Guest. She offered her congratulations to the graduating students and related her own experience in entering the transportation industry. Shortly after the ceremony, students and guests were served lunch by the Avaal staff and participated in a group photograph session. Graduates from the 31st batch included Atul Saili, Jithendra Karunanithy, Kanigesan Kajanthan, Balwant Bhogal, Babak Soltanali Hamedani, Balwinder Padda, Varun Bhagat, Harpal Bhatt, Sukhwinder Kaur, Paul Chillingworth, Gurjeet Mangat, Dean Usher, and Jorge Mora.

The Dispatch Specialist certification is an industry recognized course that delivers the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the modern transportation industry. Graduates are able to start a career in transportation with earning potential as high as $5000 per month. Skilled, trained employees are in high demand by transportation companies. In the current economic turmoil, these skills can help a trucking business experiencing slowdowns or losses to put themselves in a profitable and growth-oriented position.

Recently, Avaal has expanded its ACE E-manifest service to include a premium package with features designed to minimize headaches and delays for cross-border trucking. Documents received from drivers or dispatchers are immediately forwarded to custom brokers, an ACE E-Manifest is created and sent to the US border officials, and entry numbers are provided to drivers after customs clearance is complete. This also includes Avaal’s 24/7 anyday, anytime phone support. Subscribing companies enjoy significant savings on fax costs and staff for overnight shifts.
